Peter Jackson appointed CEO of Travelex

Travelex, the world’s largest foreign exchange and international payments specialist, announces the appointment of Peter Jackson as Chief Executive Officer of the Travelex Group. He will take up the role in early spring 2010.

Peter joins Travelex from Lloyds Banking Group where he is currently Managing Director of the Consumer Banking Division. Prior to his current role, he held a number of senior retail banking positions with HBOS, having started his career as a consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Announcing Peter’s appointment, Lloyd Dorfman, Chairman of Travelex, said:
“Peter is a strong leader with drive, energy and enthusiasm and an impressive track record of delivery. He will be a great addition to Travelex and I am confident that he will help us to accelerate our growth and development in 2010 and beyond.”
