Travelex, the international payment and foreign exchange specialist, announced today that it has agreed to the disposal of its estate of 1,070 surcharging ATMs in the United Kingdom, to AIM listed Cardpoint plc for cash consideration of £12.9 million.

Ian Meakins, CEO of Travelex, said: “The disposal is another step in the execution of our strategy of focusing on our core businesses of international payments, retail foreign exchange and travel money outsourcing.”
