The Group’s principal activities are organised into three divisions: Global Business Payments, Currency Services and Cards and Mobile Payments.

Global Business Payments
Travelex is the world’s largest non-bank provider of commercial cross-border payment services. The business provides international payment services for commercial and personal customers, with products comprising multi-currency spot contracts, forward contracts and options. The Global Business Payments division was created by merging Ruesch International, which was acquired in 2007, with Travelex’s Commercial Foreign Exchange (CFX) division.

Currency Services
Travelex is world’s largest global non-bank wholesale foreign exchange supplier, with over 30 years experience in trading in up to 80 currencies. Travelex is the world’s largest retail foreign exchange specialist with over 780 Travelex retail branches principally in airports and tourist locations in over 100 airports, across 25 countries. Travelex also has partner relationships in over 100 countries and 20,000 locations across the globe, providing foreign currency solutions to financial institutions, supermarkets & travel agencies as well fulfilling individual orders for their customers. Products and services include FX ATM’s, retail banknotes, wholesale banknote fulfilment, the distribution of insurance policies and the issuing of prepaid cards to individuals travelling for business and leisure purposes.

Cards and Mobile Payments
Travelex sell 1 million cards a year worldwide and have prepaid card programmes in over 30 countries. Cash Passport is available to consumers through our own global retail network and through many financial institution and travel agent partners globally. Our Corporate Cash Passport products help companies around the world to increase control and reduce costs. It is used for many specialised applications including business expenses, payroll and compensation payout by organisations in a variety of sectors such as maritime, aviation, travel and education.

The Group operates through its subsidiaries and branches in four regions: the United Kingdom; Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEA); Americas and Asia Pacific.
