TRAVELEX PRESS RELEASE Thomas Cook joins the Travelex Cash Passport boom Date : July 16, 2007 Travelex has today announced its prepaid travel card Cash Passport is set for strong growth as it joins forces with Thomas Cook travel agents in UK & Northern Ireland. The Cash Passport will be available through Thomas Cook's network of 806 high street stores from November. The Travelex Cash Passport gives customers access to local currency from one of more than one million global Visa ATMs as well as being accepted by Visa Electron merchants throughout the world. David Sear, Divisional Managing Director, Travelex Outsourcing added: "For sometime now, we have seen consumer interest and usage of prepaid travel cards rise - we've now got the right product with the right distribution and we're confident that we will really see sales of the card rise. The size of the Visa acceptance network sets the Cash Passport apart from our prepaid competitors. We are excited to be able to offer Thomas Cook's customers the benefits of using our card." The Cash Passport Visa card is reloadable for three years and is available in EUR USD and GBP. Travelex is the largest global distributor of prepaid travel cards with global usage growing by more than 30 per cent in 2007.
